چکیده
Groundwater resources have always been some of the most valuable human settlements. Climate changes and ever-increasing water demands registered in last century led to diminishing levels groundwater reserves, as well reduced recharging potential. Therefore, order use aquifers a sustainable manner, it is required identify areas with higher replenishing The current study addresses issue generating map for identifying differently ranked potential values, Moldavian Plain region, Romania. For purpose conducting analysis, maps were created through GIS based multi-criteria Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) Catastrophe Theory (CT), seven relevant, thematic, spatial layers: precipitation distribution, lithological strata, soil texture, declivity, drainage density, land distribution level tendencies. results two methods analysis are similar. Prediction differences maximum 3%, case extreme classes (very bad very good) middle deviation not greater than 0.4%. Following validation generated by that applied, was observed predictions offered CT more accurate. This aspect can be on fact main factors contribute prediction different. type workflow emphasizes necessity implementing appropriate management plans mitigating reservoir scarcity/depletion, recommending solutions future exploitation practices.

data envelopment analysis (dea) is a powerful tool for measuring relative efficiency of organizational units referred to as decision making units (dmus). in most cases dmus have network structures with internal linking activities. traditional dea models, however, consider dmus as black boxes with no regard to their linking activities and therefore do not provide decision makers with the reasons...
Evaluation of Groundwater Remediation Technologies Based on Fuzzy Multi-Criteria Decision Analysis Approaches
Petroleum is an essential resource for the development of society and its production is huge. There is a great risk of leakage of oil during production, refining, and transportation. After entering the environment, the oil pollutants will be a great threat to the environment and may endanger human health. Therefore, it is very important to remediate oil pollution in the subsurface. However, it ...

In the way of finding economic and tolerable plant to the arid and semi-arid climatic conditions and prevent desertification in these areas, this study aims to assess Agro-climatic suitability for producing Saffron in East-Azerbaijan province based on Geographic Information System (GIS) spatial analysis technique. For this goal, several criteria including soil conditions, climatological in...

The practical application of sustainable development concepts in groundwater resource management will be complex. The past studies indicate long-term aim of integration to develop the spatial decision support system (SDSS), which is devoted to help decision makers in spatial problems. The essence of this paper is to present a strategy of the groundwater potential with integrating geographical i...
